Growing up in Colorado, I did not attend church and was not introduced to Christianity until I moved to Texas at the end of middle school. I first heard the gospel at my home church, but I struggled to understand what it meant to live as a Christian during my high school years. Instead, my life became centered on pride and striving to succeed in sports.

After being accepted to SFA, I sought to get involved in a campus ministry. Through that process, I met a guy named AJ who led me through a Bible study. As our friendship grew, he eventually invited me to a church discipleship program over the summer that was part of Campus Outreach. It was during that time that I made the decision to truly follow Jesus. By God’s grace, I began to develop a passion for sharing the gospel with my fraternity brothers and now with incoming freshmen.
